A graduate of Food Business from UCC in 1990. After graduating, he spent 3 years working for Avonmore in Bradford before returning home to help run the family business. Garret is just as happy on the family farm with his herd as he is in the boning hall selecting product for customers.
Sales and Business development
Barry joined Kavanagh Meats 13 years ago and is a graduate of Meat Retailing from DIT. Barry also comes from a family steeped in butchering tradition, being a 3rd generation butcher. After spending 10 years with his father in retail, he moved into the wholesale business with Kavanaghs.
Shane joined the team in 2003 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the meat trade. His expertise ranges from the operation and management of the abattoir to the fine detail of customers’ specs and requirements in the boning hall.
Elaine Walker Duffy
Elaine joined Kavanagh Meats in 2013. Previously having worked in the cooked meat side of the industry, she has developed the company to achieve and maintain the coveted BRC quality standard.
